Here For It All, Mariah's sixteenth studio album, was released on September 26, 2025. Released via Mariah/gamma., Here For It All is Mariah's first independently released project after a career within the major system. “I really enjoyed making this album,” Mariah told Vogue. “I really went with the flow and let it shape on its own. From start to finish, I didn't know how it was going to end up — but it worked.”
In the United States, Here For It All made its debut on the Billboard 200 album chart at number seven, Mariah's nineteenth top-10 entry on the chart, making her the third woman with at least one new top 10-charted album in the 1990s, 2000s, '10s and '20s, following Madonna and Shania Twain.
Here For It All was the week's best-selling album, with nearly 47,000 equivalent album units (with traditional album sales comprising 39,000 of that sum), and debuted at number one on the Top Album Sales chart. The album also topped three additional charts: Top Current Album Sales, Top R&B Albums and Independent Albums.
The lead single was “Type Dangerous,” which is based around a sample of “Eric B. Is President” was released on June 6. “I was in a restaurant in Aspen, and I was with [Anderson .Paak] and a couple of friends,” Mariah explained. “Suddenly ‘Eric B. Is President’ comes on, and I was like, ‘What? I love this song. I haven’t heard this song in forever.’ We went to the studio the next day and started playing around with sampling it, and it's just on and on from there… I made them play it over and over.”
“Type Dangerous,” became Mariah's landmark 50th career hit on the Billboard Hot 100 after debuting at number ninety-five on the chart dated June 21, 2025, her first new title on the Hot 100 since “Oh Santa!,” featuring Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, spent a week on the chart dated December 19, 2020. “Type Dangerous” also allowed Mariah to return to the top of Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart for the first time in nearly two decades as the song topped the chart dated August 16, 2025. The song became Mariah's third number-one hit on the chart, spending three weeks at the top.
“Sugar Sweet,” a collaboration with Kehlani and Shenseea, was released as the album's second single on July 25, 2025. “I just think [Shenseea and Kehlani]'s freedom really shows, and they're just present; they're who they are,” Mariah explained. “This makes the record so much younger and more fun, and I just thought it was everything. I've never had a trio before with three strong women, and having the ability to do this now, it's amazing. I love what it speaks on. I love what it speaks to.”
The third and current single is a collaboration with Anderson .Paak on “Play This Song,” which became available on the same day as the album's release. “I definitely wanted to work with Anderson because he's so brilliant and amazing at what he does, which is just being a kick-ass musician,”, Mariah told Apple Music. “But when we got into the studio, we decided we wanted to do something that was kind of '70s, and we did give you that kind of vibe. So we started working on ‘Play This Song,’ and it was just one of those ones that I really loved. Working with him in the studio, he's a great companion in terms of making music.”
There are two versions of “Sugar Sweet.” The solo version is included on the physical copies of Here For It All, while the collaboration with Shenseea and Kehlani is available on the digital deluxe edition as a bonus track. The Japanese edition of Here For It All is the only physical release which includes both versions, as well as another bonus track: the DJ Snake remix of “Type Dangerous.”

I don't care about much if it ain't about mi
Let the money talk first, conversations ain't free
I'm a D-I-V-A, that's MC
I'm the hot toddie, hottie body, yea that's tea
I don't acknowledge time, I do whatever I please
Diamonds in my hair, yea that's pure luxury
I'm a bad bitch but I'm good company
You would know that if you really knew mi
In another class from those ladies
Welcome to my house, pink sand on my feet
Harry Winston diamonds and some Louis 13
I ain't checked a price since Emancipation Mi
Don't get it confused
Cause it ain't about you
I'm the movie and the muse
And you couldn't walk a mile in my shoes (Cause they hurt like hell)
I don't care about much if it ain't about mi
Let the money talk first, conversations ain't free
I'm a D-I-V-A, that's MC
I'm the hot toddie, hottie body, yea that's tea
(Up till the dawn) But I don't lose sleep
(Lights stay on) Cause I need to be seen
I'm an empire baby from the NYC
Let the money talk first, conversations ain't free
I like my ice cold, I like my wrist froze
I wear my high heels walking on my tiptoes
Yes, I like my back rubbed, in my hot tub
Dripping honey in this Hermes bathrobe
Veuve sip, drink it like it's alkaline
Cool whip, tasty like a Valentine
I stay in your mind in your head, rent free
I don't check the price, can't nobody check mi
Don't get it confused
Cause it ain't about you
I'm the movie and the muse
And you couldn't walk a mile in my shoes (Cause they hurt like hell)
I don't care about much if it ain't about mi
Let the money talk first, conversations ain't free

And your friends don't talk about it
About your suffering in your silence
Boy I know you miss me
(Listen by yourself)
(You can listen by your damn self)
And I can't pretend to hold it all in
It all comes around again
You know we got some history
(Listen by yourself)
(Please listen by your damn self)
Play this song, by yourself
There's a thing in my mind
I can't block this time
Ain't no way around it
I told Pookie, Deshawn and Ron
We were getting back together
Although I highly doubt it
And I know you miss babe
Don't pretend like you don't feel the same
Can't take all the pain and the sorrow
Come on and stay until tomorrow
And I know you miss babe
Ain't it hard when things don't go your way
I'm not the same, baby I promise
All I can say is that I'm sorry
Play this song, by yourself
Though you try so hard to hide it
I can tell by the way you're smiling
Girl I know you miss me
(Listen by yourself)
(You can listen by your damn self)
At the drive-in eatin' with your little friend
I used to buy you steaks and scrimps
Don't act like you don't miss me
(Listen by yourself)
(Please listen by your damn self)
Play this song, by yourself
There's a place in my heart
I can't hide at all, boy you can always find it
I told Keisha, Chante and Tots
We were getting back together
Although I highly doubt it
And I know you miss babe
Don't pretend like you don't feel the same
Can take all the pain and the sorrow
Come on and stay until tomorrow
And I know you miss babe
Ain't it hard when things don't go your way
I'm not the same, baby I promise

I came in the door dripped in Balenci
Cropped leather coat and some nine inch Fendis
The crowd opened up and I started to strut
I need my space but I'm signing autographs and such
Hit the little girls' room to powder my nose
Then came in three hatin' ass hoes
They don't know the meaning of water nor soap
I don't have time for the rigamarole
Taking off my coat, clearing my throat
Certified diamonds like the songs I wrote
Look at my wrist, check out the light show
Can you handle this? I don't know
You can meet me up at the pent
Knock 'em out the box with a chocolate kiss
Hope I ain't sayin' too much
I like 'em dangerous
Lookin' for the dangerous type
I like 'em dangerous
I'm lookin' for the dangerous type
I said I like 'em dangerous
Dangerous
Dangerous
Fresh outta Sing Sing, nah I'm just playin'
That was just a castle and an evil king
Made my escape, yes I had to flee
Now it's Sex in the City and a couple little flings
Motorcycle man had a yen for me
Liked to rush through the tunnel at a breakneck speed
Computer boy toy, he was fun for a while
Till I caught him on the web hacking other girls' files
You know the guy say he worked construction
Turns out he was movin' them pounds through customs
They wanna settle down but I just don't trust 'em
They wanna lock me down but there's no handcuffin'
Said we'd be together but you didn't stay forever
Now I guess it's just whatever till the 12th of never
I've never been afraid of love
That's why I like 'em dangerous
I'm lookin' for the dangerous type (Lookin' for that danger)
I like 'em dangerous (I like 'em dangerous — That's my type)
I'm lookin' for the dangerous type
I said I like 'em dangerous
Oh yes, I want someone to step to me
Oh yes, I want someone to rescue me
Oh yes, I've never been afraid of love
Oh yes, that's why I like 'em dangerous (I like 'em dangerous)
Oh yes, I want someone to step to me
Oh yes, I want someone to rescue me
Oh yes, I've never been afraid of love (Dangerous)
Oh yes, that's why I like 'em dangerous
Said I like 'em dangerous

Walk to the car and there you are
Can't explain the rush that I feel
Open up the door, you pull me towards you
Then you put your lips on me
I really really like when I put it all together for you
I'm gonna take my time
My nails, hair, new perfume
Hate it when you have to leave
But I don't say a thing
Cause I will absolutely get the ring
No hurry, no worries
Oh baby baby baby baby
I'm gonna use my expertise
I'mma keep it nice, I'mma keep it neat
I'mma keep it sugar, I'mma keep it sweet
I'mma keep it nice (nice), neat (neat), sugar (sugar), sweet (sweet)
I'mma keep it nice (nice), neat (neat), sugar (sugar), sweet (sweet)
I hope that you don't mind
I'm gonna take my time
And I'mma keep it nice (nice), neat (neat), sugar (sugar), sweet (sweet)
All the things I do
I only do 'em, only do 'em just for you
You know I can't get enough of you, babe
When I talk to you
And tell you all the things that I need from you
You do all the above and it's never too much
Hate it when you have to leave
But I don't say a thing
Cause I will absolutely get the ring
No hurry, no worries
Oh baby baby baby baby
I'm gonna use my expertise
I'mma keep it nice, I'mma keep it neat

I thought I was yours
But then again you pretend, so I didn't know for sure
I thought we could fly
Guess you're probably scared of heights
I'll let you go
Watchin' him walk out
Let myself fall down
Why do we feel so estranged
Pain from the heartache
We're back where we started
I can't keep playing these games
I think you might be getting a little bit toooooooo
In your feelings
I might spare a moment for a picture
And you can take it as I'm leaving
Watchin' him walk out
Let myself fall down
Why do we feel so estranged
Sweet tender love
You said you promise
Now I feel stupid and stuff
Cause you couldn't be honest
Pain in my heart, darts in your back
Painting a picture of what we could've had
Watchin' him walk out
Let myself fall down
Why do we feel so estranged
Pain from the heartache
We're back where we started
I can't keep playing these games
I think you might be getting a little bit toooooooo
In your feelings
I might spare a moment for a picture

Gone for a while but I'm much better
Covering my eyes was so unpleasant
Ain't gonna lie, it wasn't very nice
Seemed like I'd never rise again
Surely I couldn't find a friend
Haunted by desperation and long harrowing nights
But I was never all alone
The spirit lives in my soul
So I never let go
I knew deep down inside that I could fly
Cause I dream a greater dream
I fight a greater fight
Survived a gruesome fall
Because nothing is impossible
Nothing is impossible at all
So I weather the storms that most can't handle
Surprisingly I'm alive to stand up
Miracles never cease to set me free
They chase me down but I'm still rollin'
Something in me cannot be stolen
I will not break, I won't be broken
It's deep, can't you see
That I was never all alone
The spirit lives in my soul
So I never let go
I knew deep down inside that I could fly
Cause I dream a greater dream
I fight a greater fight
Survived a gruesome fall
Because nothing is impossible
Nothing is impossible at all
Cause I dream a greater dream
I fight a greater fight
I overcome it all
Because nothing is impossible
Nothing is impossible at all
Nothing is impossible
Nothing is impossible

It was a sad day
It was at my place
But now I watch confetti falling down and you ain't around
It's a celebration
Find me in the crowd with diamonds all around
I don't need no closure over you
Cause I didn't lose
Never a doubt, look at me now
Yeah, look at me now
My new baby text me, I'm on the way
A smile is on my face so pour it up
It's just another day
(I feel it)
I feel it pouring down like rain
And I dedicate it to you
Sparkles on my cake
(The winnin')
And I pop it in your name
Boy ain't nothing changed
I stay surrounded by
Confetti and champagne
Bright lights like a big game
Got my girls by my side
We a hit, that's worldwide
Cheers, cheers, cheers, cheers, cheers
To me, not you, just me
That, confetti and champagne
Clink, clink, clink, pow
Look at me now
I bet you thought it hit me deep
Took about a week, damn
I reminisce, but it ain't sweet
So you can keep that
Ask me if I benefitted
You know that I did
I got money, honey
Don't do trash
It's just another day
(I feel it)
I feel it pouring down like rain
And I dedicate it to you
Sparkles on my cake
(The winnin')
And I pop it in your name
Boy ain't nothing changed

Whatcha gonna do when your head is blown
And your heart explodes and your body's cold
Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do
Whatcha gonna say when we go our separate ways
And you see me outside with my million dollar bae
Please enjoy your Chick-fil-A
Wanted the fame, used my name
Bet you thought you could do that
I won't entertain all your narcissistic ways
I won't allow it
I won't allow it
I won't allow it
I won't allow it
Whatcha gonna do when you're feeling low
Cause I don't love you anymore
No more (That part)
Whatcha gonna do when you lyin' on the floor
Changed my number awhile ago
Wanted the fame, used my name
Bet you thought you could do that
I won't entertain all your narcissistic ways
I won't allow it
I won't allow it
I won't allow it
I won't allow it
See you walkin' by with your dirty mustache
And your patches on your pants
And you kinda showed your ass
And I'm still the same (I'm still the same)
So whatcha gonna do when your face all broke
And you're hot inside, lost your pride
Can't obtain any Accutane
Should have been more proactive
Wanted the fame, used my name
Bet you thought you could do that
I won't entertain all your narcissistic ways
I won't allow it
I won't allow it
I won't allow it
I won't allow it
Whatchu gonna do?
Tell me, watchu gonna do?
(Can't obtain any Accutane)
(Should have been more proactive)
Should have been more proactive
I forgot to tell you that part (Forgot to tell you)
I forgot to tell you that part (I forgot to tell you)
I forgot to tell you that part (Tell you that part)
I forgot to tell you that part
I forgot to tell you that part (Forgot to tell you)
I forgot to tell you that part (Forgot to tell you)
I forgot to tell you that part…

When I am low
Whenever the world cuts me down and I can't seem to cope
You… soothe me with salve
You fill me with faith so I'm never alone
And you are the song I continue to sing
And you save my life and command me to breathe
And you are the light enabling me to love myself with pride, so
Jesus I do
I do, Jesus I do
Love to let you hear it
Love to feel your spirit
Gotta hold on
Make me feel brand new
Jesus I do
I do, Jesus I do
Love to let you hear it
Love to feel your spirit
Gotta hold on
Make me feel brand new
When I am down in misery
I call your name and I receive
The joy I need to set me free
From all of life's atrocities
Jesus I do
I do, Jesus I do
Love to let you hear it
Love to feel your spirit
Gotta hold on
Make me feel brand new
I, I thought I would never find
A true love like you
And now I can never turn loose
Love that I need and
Jesus I do (Yes I do)
Jesus I do
I really do, I do
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
You're the reason I pull through
Jesus I do
You're the reason I pull through
Jesus I do
Through the darkest of nights I need you
Jesus I do
Through the pain and the strife I go through
I promise too
Instead of losing it, I call on you
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
Through the darkest of nights I need you
Jesus I do
Through the pain and the strife I go through
Unvarnished truth
Instead of losing it, I call on you
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
Jesus I do
No one but you
Jesus I do
Jesus I do

I lay awake and feel you breathe
And thank the Lord I've lived to see
The physical embodiment of love
(Some say ‘That's tough’ lolololol)
But when you leave
You take a little bit of every fiber that's embedded in me
But if you need
I'll keep my shit together and internalize the depth of ‘The feels’
And baby I'm here for it all
The glory, the shakes and withdrawals
Even when you bounce off the walls
Baby I'm here for it all
Here for the clouds in your eyes
A kiss where the sun never shines
I won't you let you break when you fall
Baby I'm here for it all
Oh, and rainbows will always remind you of me
Please remember to look for them diligently
And save a prayer cause covenants are real
Believe in things unseen
Hey boy…
But if you leave
Just whisper something softly to the wind you want Mariah to hear
But if you please
Just stay with me a while and help me laugh through the tears till I'm gone
And baby I'm here for it all
Red carpets in Cannes and applause
Bugattis, whatever they're called
Baby I'm here for it all
Our virtual sleep overnights
That kept me from losing my mind
Through things I don't care to recall
Still baby I'm here for it all
This is just a rehearsal
Test light
You just gotta praise the most high
And baby I'm here for it all
Here for the glory, the shakes and withdrawals
Even when you bounce off the walls
Baby I'm here for it all
You know I'm here for the clouds in your eyes
And a kiss where the sun never shines
Boy I won't you let you break when you fall
Baby I'm here for it all
For it all
Baby I'm here for it all
And you know what this is
This is just a rehearsal
Test flight
You just gotta praise the most high
Oh my Lord
Hallelujah
Holy Spirit
Fall down on me
This is just a rehearsal
Test flight
You just gotta praise the most high

Kehlani:
You make me melt like candy
Only you can make it drip that kinda way
My baby come in handy
When I wanna get away
So tell me what are you on tonight?
Cause I wanna take a ride
Let me blow your mind
Ride it from the passenger side
It's like that y'all
I got the sweet and the spice and the everything nice
It's like that y'all
I got Tajin and the lime with the cream on the side
Mariah:

Shenseea:
Me will keep it nice, I'mma keep it sweet
And I'm full of sugar, come get a rush from me
I got what you like, what you want to beat
When me give you, don't go chatting like a parakeet
This aroma sweeter than Dior, love
Keep my body tight, treat you right cause you deserve me easy
My love, me nice and sweet, all of the above
And I'mma guarantee to love you proper
So sweet, like a gizzada
Me ago lock it down, prison zone, keep the bumpa round
Though I'm getting older, I'm with you, boy, you gon' keep me young
I'mma keep it nice (nice), neat (neat), sugar (sugar), sweet (sweet)
I'mma keep it nice (nice), neat (neat), sugar (sugar), sweet (sweet)
